The three most important values that I live by are life-long learning, adaptability, and creativity.
My aspiration is to work in documentary and fiction film/ television production. I immigrated with my family from Guatemala City to Los Angeles, inspiring me to support film production and education in Central America in my career.
I had an interest in creative content before I even knew I could make a career out of it. I started out writing poetry and short stories, moved on to recording and editing amateur videos. I became involved in theatre workshops, acting, and promotion of the arts in high school, and it carried over as I worked in student musical theatre productions with HOOLIGAN Theatre Company. Around the same time, I have worked on several student and independent film productions, including my work with the Film and Photography Society. I am currently a proud member of the UCLA chapter of the film fraternity Delta Kappa Alpha, and I work as a Media Relations Assistant at UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
