I graduated from college this last August. I spent last summer in LA taking screenwriting and acting classes at UCLA with the plan of returning to school (University of Oregon), finishing my degree (Sociology/Theater), then returning to LA to find work in the entertainment industry. The specifics of my work and educational history are included in my resume.
My experience as a major college football player taught me a great deal about myself. Responding quickly to pressure, working hard for long hours under adverse conditions, taking sharp criticism to achieve my potential, and working as a teammate are all things I learned and will bring to any job. My part-time work in law offices proved to me I have these characteristics. I was also humbled many times as a player and realize the beginning of any career, particularly writing, will expose me quickly to humility. I am committed and willing to do what it takes to be the absolute best writer’s assistant I can be, and I believe I have the personal background, characteristics and experience to learn from the best in order to someday be the best. You will not find a person more appreciative and eager to learn than me.
I live in Santa Monica, can be reached on my cell or via email, both of which are listed on my resume. And I can go anywhere in the area for an interview. I would ask that you consider me for any Writer’s Assistant, or Production Assistant position that is available. Thank you.
