My name is Foustene (pronounced FAU- like a faucet and STENE-like stene). While I’m sure you’ve heard my name a thousand times, my experience makes me stand out as a candidate for the office coordinator/PA position.
As a freelancer, I’ve worked in high-stress, fast-paced commercial settings where my organization and quick-wit stood out. For the last couple of months, I've worked as an office PA for Hungry Man productions. There, I've prepped timecards and petty-cash orders, managed crafty for the office, acted as a runner on set and ran errands for our line-producer and production manager. On a completely independent note, I've worked as both an assistant director and a script supervisor. For these, I generated and managed schedules for full crews, paying close attention to detail to ensure everything ran smoothly. As a producer, I’ve had to problem solve last-minute changes including finding new locations and replacing actors. I've also built and ran their social media pages on various platforms and updated the websites for many of these projects. I love to problem solve (this also explains why I love card games so much!).
During my undergrad, I worked as a residential assistant to generate a safe and healthy living environment. For meetings, safety checks and incident reports, we kept track of everything through Google calendar and Slack. In addition, I organized an assortment of large scale events at my college for students. Nearing my graduation, I interned as both a development assistant at Lighthearted Entertainment. There, I collaborated in large group settings with individuals at all levels, answered and directed phone calls and ran small errands for different high-level associates. Being a member of a team is something I look forward to!
Through these experiences, I have finessed my leadership skills, developed my organization and thrived under pressure. I love to joke around (!), but I also know how to get things done. I’m a very hard worker, am extremely eager to learn.
Thank you in advance for your consideration,
