I'm Daylyn Paul. Currently I am a Summa Cum Laude senior at CSULB where I study film production and history. Ultimately, my goal is to become a director and writer of historical epics.
My gained knowledge as a grip, gaffer, production assistant and director is particularly invaluable when ADing because I have a deep respect and understanding of every department on set. Moreover, my last two development internships- at Latin World Entertainment and Hollywood Media Bridge- both enabled me to enhance my skills in production coordinating, budgeting and multitasking. I am extremely well spoken, organized and persistent. My experiences as an intern, student and filmmaker have endowed me with perseverance, creativity and confidence.
I welcome the possibility to meet in person, by email or over the phone to more deeply share the facets of my work history and my passion to work for this project. I am fully available. Thank you.
A sizzle reel for a feature, on this short I worked effortlessly with the director to organize a one day out door shoot. We finished on time and under budget.
In addition to the principle shoot days, I organized and scheduled additional shoot days for this short film.
As the 2nd AD, I aided the 1st by sending out daily call sheets and wrangling talent.
