Camilha Contreras, known to her friends as Cami, was born on August 17, 1996, in Bogota, Colombia. At three she immigrated to the United States with her father. As she grew older, Camilha grew to become fascinated with the art of filmmaking. Growing up in an immigrant low-income household, she faced many challenges, that fuel much of her desire to persevere and make herself heard. Aware she had a lot to say and show the world, she found the best way to make an impact in others lives by spreading awareness about real humanitarian issues and other social causes was through filmmaking. It was in her senior year of High School that she chose her passion and pursue a career in filmmaking.
The first year of college she attended Pasadena City College, a place that unfortunately did not fulfill her creatively. She then learned of Art Center College of Design which immediately peaked her interest. Camilha started Art Center in the Spring of 2016. Throughout college, Camilha explored and experimented until she identified her true passion in socially and message-driven pieces. She found the only way to impact was through empathy and focused her filmmaking on reflecting that.
Camilha graduated from Art Center in April 2018 and continues to pursue her career as a Director in Los Angeles, California. Hoping to continually inspire and be inspired by her drive and desire to change the world.

Hi! I'm a student filmmaker at Chapman University, majoring in Television Writing and Production. Originally from New Jersey, I'm now in the Los Angeles area and ready for the next chapter in my life. I've had a deep passion for cinema and television since the age of 8 years old – possibly still visible via a poorly-made and rather embarrassing YouTube channel. Today, I'm fortunate enough to create, direct, write and produce various projects through school, internships and other amazing opportunities. I love storytelling and look forward to the continual unfolding of my own lifetime production – both personally and professionally.
I have over 5 years experience in the production of corporate videos, 2d explainers, commercials, promos, social media videos, feature and short films, documentaries, music videos, curriculum videos , and event videos across multiple formats. I am creative, highly motivated, adaptable, meticulous, hard-working, and strive for perfection. As a freelancer I’ve become pretty versatile. Whether it’s planning and organizing a project from the start, managing all aspects of the production or post-production, or publishing and optimization content after it’s online – I’ve done it. I enjoy working with teams and collaborating on projects when I can. Will do everything possible to make sure a video or film is successfully completed, while retaining the highest standard of excellence. As a recent graduate from Florida State University with a Master degree, I believe I am an excellent fit for the Production Assistant opportunity. I look forward to the chance to show you how my educational background and other experience have prepared me to make an immediate contribution to Entertainment Inc.
At Florida State University Motion Picture Collage, I learned a number of key skills that will enable me to thrive in this job, particularly solution-oriented, organization and creative skill. I worked for International Culture Collaborative Organization, as project director. I directed the US-CHINA television &film innovation summit. This opportunity gave me the chance to work with Chinese and American film makers and play as English and Chinese translator for both film makers, and also I bring the Chinese delegation to meet with all the unions like, SAG-AFTRA, DGA
and WGA. Right now the film market is developing globally, specific Chinese has the biggest audience market and American has the best film making industry, I confidently think I could be and I would love to be bridge to connect both countries making more co-production films together.
I have also refined my critical thinking and analytical skills, and have learned how to effectively meet deadlines, and work with various types of people to complete projects and tasks. I pride myself on being a fast learner and feel confident that I can quickly acquire any new skills I'll need to succeed in this role.
A copy of my resume is included for your review. I am extremely enthusiastic about this position, and I am ready to start making a meaningful contribution right away. I appreciate your time, and look forward to hearing back from you soon

My name is Tylre Synclair and I am a television addict.
Now, before you close out my file and continue on with your day, let me tell you why my addiction could help you: I have turned this addiction into a passion, picking up a minor in the top film school in the world, creating two of my own web series, and starting work on my master’s in something I am skilled at so that I can do something I love: work in the entertainment industry.
Having graduated from the University of Southern California in 2017 with an English degree and minor in Screenwriting and started work on a Master’s degree in Communication Management with an emphasis in Media and Entertainment, I seek a position that allows me to combine my business acumen with the entertainment industry – specifically, scripted television writing and/or development as well as directing, production, or casting.
I am fortunate to have had internships with amazing companies that afforded me opportunities to make real-world contributions that significantly improved production and increased revenue. These positions played to my strengths in verbal and written communication, organization, project management, and leadership working both independently and with a team. My two internships with Fullscreen Media allowed me to apply all of my past experience in entertainment, social media, and marketing in order to participate in furthering the development of their Netflix-style application, which streamed both original and licensed content to their viewers. Having started in the editorial department and networked my way into the scripted development department at Fullscreen, I then moved into two new internships during the Fall of 2017 as a talent & casting intern with CBS Television and the current series & development intern at DreamWorks Television Animation. Working for two large companies while taking classes forced me to work on my time management skills as well as network effectively and professionally, as I would not continue with DreamWorks and stay on with CBS Television during pilot season 2018. Having enriched my connections with the executives at CBS, I then went on, with their help, to work for Wendy O’Brien as a casting assistant. During my time there, I worked on two television pilots, Unt. Lil Dicky Pilot (FX) and The Edge of Seventeen (YouTube Red), two feature films, Wyrm (Endeavor Content) and Torrance (Warner Bros.), and ran camera, sent appointments, and checked avails for various projects sprinkled in between such as Now Apocalypse (Starz), A.P. Bio (NBC) and You’re the Worst (FX).
While I have had fantastic professional opportunities in both Texas and California, I believe that the most important and most educational opportunities I have had were to write, cast, produce, and direct two original web series with a few of my peers. Utilizing my experience in marketing, social media, and management as well as my writing degrees, I was able to create two projects that are beautiful and hilarious that I am very proud to add to my portfolio. Furthermore, I have since gone on to help start a production company currently called the Crosstown Players, which produces both live entertainment such as plays and sketch comedy shows as well as short-form digital content. Currently, we are in the process of seeking funding for an experimental short film that I wrote and will direct.
I am a quick study and extremely passionate about learning new skills. I am adept at multitasking and thrive in fast-paced environments. My positive attitude and emotional intelligence enable me to collaborate well with others while my versatility makes me a vital asset to any organization. My passion for film and television, however, makes me vital to your organization. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
