Creative Live

Absent the celebrity instructors, Creative Live still features courses taught by accomplished professionals in the film and TV field. It also has an advantage in the breadth of its course selection, with 1500+ courses to choose from, and more practical, everyday lessons, from time management productivity workshops to iPhone and DSLR filmmaking. You can also keep a lookout for free courses offered throughout the year as well as regular discounts on individual courses.

LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn isn’t usually considered a resource for filmmakers. However, in 2015 the company acquired Lynda.com and all of its great content for filmmakers. In addition, LinkedIn Learning offers crowd-sourced content, with classes like cinematography fundamentals and short video production from start to finish. Given that any professionals can add these courses, the quality of each class varies, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of great options! As an added bonus, these classes also offer certificates for course completion if you are looking to boost your resume.
